CUSTOMER: That’s right. But I’m really calling because of that discount price that I saw in the advertisement.
RECEPTIONIST: Of course. When I check the dates for your holiday, our system will show me the cheapest rates.
CUSTOMER: Will that bring up the Internet special I’m talking about though?
RECEPTIONIST: The discounted price from the advertisement will automatically be applied. It’s just, we have different deals depending on destination, dates and what type of package you’re looking for.
CUSTOMER: Alright. I’d like to get the price for an all-inclusive trip to Corfu for one week.
RECEPTIONIST: What month?
CUSTOMER: It can be any week in May… So how much would a week in Corfu set me back?
RECEPTIONIST: We’re running a special on May right now. It’s not quite the high season yet. It includes round trip airfare from Sydney, five nights and six days in Corfu. The cost for that, including all taxes and fees, is $1759.
CUSTOMER: One thousand seven hundred fifty-nine dollars! Is that per person?
RECEPTIONIST: No, no. That’s for two.

CUSTOMER: Okay.
RECEPTIONIST: Regarding dates, all trips must originate on a Monday and conclude on Saturday.
CUSTOMER: That’s no problem. Do you book the flights and everything?
RECEPTIONIST: Yes. We guarantee arrival on the departure date and arrival back in Sydney on the following Saturday. Most flights have one connection.
CUSTOMER: OK. Is it possible to request a specific time for flights?
RECEPTIONIST: No, but we do try find flights that accommodate your schedule.
CUSTOMER: What do you mean by that?
RECEPTIONIST: If you’d like to leave in morning or evening, we can accommodate those requests. Now, we specialise in renting independent properties. So, you won’t be staying in a hotel, unless you’d like to do that. You’ll be staying in a one-bedroom flat in Corfu, which is located near the centre of town.
CUSTOMER: Yes, that sounds alright to me. What does that include?
RECEPTIONIST: It would come with all bed sheets, WIFI, appliances, shower, two bicycles, and a patio. It’s located on the second floor and has a nice view.
CUSTOMER: Is it possible to extend the stay?
RECEPTIONIST: It is possible to do that, but the discounted rate would no longer apply. The rate I gave you is for our five-night special only. If you want additional time, you’d have to pay full price for any additional weeks.
CUSTOMER: Is it possible to just stay a few days longer rather than an entire extra week?
RECEPTIONIST: Unfortunately, no. Our packages are only sold in one-week increments. If you’d like to book your own stay at a hotel for a few extra, I could help you with that. But that would change the cost of your return flight.
CUSTOMER: Well, thank you for the information. I’ll have to think it over and call you back if I’m interested.
