▶ Your Answer :
People have various opinions concerning whether or not animal species have been impacted by environmental changes such as carbon emissions. Regarding this, some argue that animal species would not be damaged by carbon dioxide. However, I strongly believe that animal species are not able to easily adapt to the changed environment. On the one hand, some experts assert that the increase of carbon emissions is not main culprit in animal extinctions. According to their insist, animal are able to adapt in the different environment and sustain their life. For instance, same species which live different country or continent have various appearance by adapting different environment. Therefore, some birds have a difference to each other when it comes to length of their wings even they are identical specie. As the example clearly illustrates, the majority of animal species would be able to accommodate in new environment. On the other hand, it is clear that the high intake of carbon dioxide is harmful for many animals. This is because animals should maintain the balance with respect to the intake of carbon dioxide to keep their bio rhythm. According to the research conducted by Tokyo university, mice which exposed much carbon dioxide suffer severe health problems. In addition, the genetic structure of those was damaged due to abruptly changed environment, and those died earlier than others. Namely, the environmental alteration such as the growth of carbon emission is damaging for animals because it is impossible for animals to accommodate every conditions. In conclusion, carbon emissions would engender the critical problems for animals even though they have a ability which are able to adapt new environment. |
