It is controversial issue that what industrials the government
should spend more or less budgets on. Some people say the more budgets should
be spent on public building, while others argue public health care needs more
budgets as it is more important than the buildings. This essay will present
both opinions with my own thoughts.
It is obvious that the government is highly responsible for
their citizens’ health conditions and educational levels. Investing more
budgets on public health and educational systems, people would live under less
stress. Due to the cost of medical treatments, a lot of people are suffering
from diseases, not going to the hospitals. To get higher degree such as university,
students are required to pay a huge amount of money, which is the most reason for
people to give up for the further studies. In Australia, for example, every
citizen is able to get ‘Fee-help’ which is a free scholarship from the government.
Even though they have to pay back later on, it makes more people to be able to
study in university, which rises Australia’s education standard higher.
However, a certain amount of money for building entertaining
facilities is necessary. Having various kinds of facilities to relieve stress
would be of a great help for people to continue to work hard, which can be a form
of contributions for the country. Further, building a huge stadium and a park,
the country would see more visitors and tourists from other countries. This can
highly benefit to the country’s economic growth and global awareness. Thus, it
is also a good idea for the government put money on convenience and entertaining
facilities.
In conclusion, as both perspectives have their own merits, I
claim that the government budgets should be spent evenly on all the industrial
above, saying all the investments have its own value and benefits. |
