▶ Your Answer :
When I was doing some homework of architecture class with my friends in high school, I could listen a variety of opinions that my friends had on their mind. Accordingly, We could show better performance in our homework. However, There still might be some people who believe that it is more effective learning to work alone than to work with other students. I personally disagree with the above idea for two subsequent reasons.
To begin with, students in the school are not masters in their major or subjects. It means that their individual ability to work can not carry out perfect outcome. On the other hand, students are able to accomplish a better consequence if several students gather for a homework or a purpose. Consequently, students can learn how to do some homework effectively from their outcome. According to the research served by KHM institute in South Korea, almost 90% of students indicated even higher performance when making a team with schoolmates than doing alone. They added that they could learn others perspective and applied it into their outcome. This clearly shows that students can learn better when working together than working alone.
On top of that, students are vulnerable to feel being alone. This makes students’ mental burden on their homework more heavier. Moreover, this could make students lose their concentration on working. With other students, they, however, could build relationship with others. In addition, students not only could relieve the pressure for their works, but also concentrate more on their task. Let me bring my personal experience as an example, I was alone when doing first work during architecture design class. It gave me a hard time to be stressed out. At that time, teacher recognized my anxiety and give me a teamwork. It could lessen the sense of responsibilities and relieved stress of mine. As a result, I could show better concentration on my task.
In conclusion, students not only could do learn effectively from substantially well outcome, but also concentrate on their work when they feel less stressed with other students. For those reasons, I strongly believe that learning through teamwork is more effective than learning alone. |
