▶ Your Answer : There might be some people who believe that grand parents can give useful advice to their grandchildren. However, I personally disagree with the above idea for the two subsquent reasons. First, it is not similar to their society and their grandchildren's society. Second, their grandchildren have more knowledge than grand parents.
First of all, grand parents' society and their grandchildren's society are so different. This is because lots of time has passed. The way we eat and live had changed. There are so many difference between the past and the present. Let me bring up my personal story as an example. In the past, my grand parents only ate rice, and they did not have electronic things such as TV and cellphone. However, people who live in the present usually eat instant food and use electronic things. Therefore, their advice does not match today's people lives because society is so different.
Second, grandchildren have lots of knowledge than their grand parents. To be specific, people who live in the present can learn lots of information from the Internet. There are many useful advice, so we can choose what we want. According to the recent survey done by JGR Institute of Education(JIE), 80 percent of the respondents said that it is so convenient to search useful infromation from the Internet, and it helps them to live better. Therefore, grandparents don't have to give advice to their children.
In conclusion, grandparents' society and the present society are so different, and grandchildrens already had lots of information from the Internet. In this regard, I strongly believe that grandparents cannot give useful advice to their grandchildren. |
