▶ Your Answer :
Given the plethora of hot potatoes-questions
or issues that are intrinsically controversial or too delicate to deal with,
and thus cannot be met with any aspect of complete concurrence, whether strict
rules are not necessary for children to obtain success or not, as of its
importance, is an elusive topic to uncover. Naturally, people growing from
different surroundings would have various perceptions towards this issue, but
upon considering both arguments, I agree with the statement that strict rules are
not necessary for children to obtain success rather than parents should set
strict rules for their children if they want them to succeed in life. It is my
utmost desire to put forward two rationalizations in conferring that my view
points are precise.
The
most conspicuous reason for my opinion is that if parents are being strict to
students, students will get stressed easily and cannot focus on their study. It
will affect bad influence such as getting lower grade to children. The case of
my friend, Sally can be an epitome of this. Several years ago, her parents were
very strict to her. They always cared about her grade. The more parents encourage
Sally, the more she got stressed. So, she killed herself because she can’t
concentrate her study because of her parents. Thus, this clearly demonstrates
that children should do their best by trying everything themselves
Another
equally remarkable reason for my opinion is that when children who were grown
up by their strict parents, they cannot find their freedom. If they go in the
society, they will have a hard time to express their opinion. An indicative example
can be the case of cousin, Mark. His parents always gave him freedom when he
was young. So when he got a job at a company, he adjusted well and got together
with other co-workers easily. He also didn’t get stress easily when he works.
As a result, children should know how to live their life by their own.
Consequently,
anchored on the aforesaid arguments and evaluations, one may firmly claim that,
strict parents are not beneficial for children to get success in the future.
This is not only because students won’t get stressed while they are growing up
by freedom parents, but also can learn how to stay with groups of people. Therefore,
nothing in my mind regarding the issue outweighs the ideas stated above prove.
