Guys, seriously SAT and GPA dont matter as long as they are in mid 50%.
1> Devote more time on essays than on sats.
2> be real friends with teachers. talk to them after school.
hang out in their offices until they kick you out.
3> find one thing that you really like. theater in my case.
4> Essay: Don't write what admission officers would like to hear. write who you really are and why you want to go to the school.
Essay: I didnt want to apply to Columbia but my parents forced me to apply to pretentious top schools.
Columbia was the most ideal school among the list because its basically in NYC (Broadway).
my parents wont let me be an Actor unless i get into one of the top 10 schools.
Thankfully i made it.
BUT I WILL prolly take gap years to be on Broadway stages.
my korean parents are still opposed to this idea.
i don't care.
im gonna sell my car and audition for Broadway until i run out of money.
i feel so bad for kids whose dreams are forced to be compromised
Guys,
read Man of La Mancha and follow your star no matter how unreachable it is.
my point is your test numbers dont do shits for you.
only your words can make changes. |
