▶ Your Answer :
The increasing influence of the
entertainment, leisure and sport on people’s daily life can be easily
misunderstood as if people spend too much time on personal enjoyment rather
than do things they should do. However, the interpretation is not proper for
three reasons.
First of all, in fact many citizens who are
not rich enough cannot enjoy their life enough due to so called duties. For
example, many Koreans with age from 20 to 50 are working in big companies that
require employees to work more than 40 hours a week. They may have fun
sometimes, and still it is not right to say that they are having too much fun.
Secondly, it is just an ostensible
phenomenon. People find their interest in many hobbies which are not the same
as their works. It’s because many people have jobs which they cannot enjoy the
work. As a result they need other activities that they like. Due to this
disparity between leisure and work, it is seem to that people are more focus on
enjoyment.
Thirdly, if someone has enough room to
enjoy life, the person can spend time for whatever they want. People shouldn’t
be too judgmental toward other’s life. If someone spends time for what he or
she wants, it is the one’s freedom.
For the reasons,
I don’t agree to the opinion that people today spend too much time on personal
enjoyment and do not what they should do. |
