▶ Your Answer : Some people argue that humans are likely to learn important lessons in lfe through secondary socialisation which includes the following: interaction with others, following principles. However, In my opinion, family members teach us the most imporatant thing that we can learn for the following reasons. First, we learn how to interact with family members which is an important social skill, Next, as family members know us the best, they help and teach us to uncover aptitudes.
First of all, family members primarily teach us how to interact with others. Nowadays, more and more businesses require people who are not only specialists in their fields by learning in schools, but are skilled in social interactions. In the rapidly chaning environment of science and technology, no task can be done by a single person and this lesson is taught by family members. By socially interacting and retaining a strong bond within the family, this provides a perfect setting for individuals to learn to improve their social skills. At this moment, I would like to talk about my experience. My parents never scorned me for mistakes that I made, instead, they taught me how to recover the relationship by knowing how to say sorry and express thankfull feelings. These basic methods of improving relationships were taught by my parents. Moreover, as I grew up with brothers, I learned how to confront with people of other gender. These are rudimentary but significant lessons that I leaned. This proves that family members teach important things to well assimilate in the society.
Next, as people spend most of their time with family members, they provide opportunities to uncover aptitudes. What I mean is that people can serve various life experiences and lessons which are hardly acquired during secondary socialisation. In the identical social and environmental circumstances, people generally have familier and similar views and experiences. However, when grown up in different families, they can obtain more refreshing ideas with the help of the family members. For example, in my case, I had a lot of concerns when choosing my major at university. I got practical advices from my family members that have seen me throughout my life. They helped me to find out what I really want and which field of studies would be appropriate for my aptitude. In this way, I was able to choose what I like with less difficulties which can not be learned in other environments. Likewlse, family members teach to uncover aptitudes to make right decisions in life.
In conlsion, the reasons stated above explains why family members teach vaulable lessons in life. |
