▶ Your Answer :Some people think that doing similar tasks is preferable since it is easy to finish lots of works. However, in my opinion, doing various types of tasks is beneficial in terms of learning new knowledge and helping focusing on tasks. To begin with, having different works encourages workers to get new experiences and knowledge. They learn what is a particular distinction of every work and will be flexible regarding to hard works. And this helps them later to do own business by using a wide range of expertise. For instance, my cousin, who was an ordinary worker, did different types of tasks in one magazine company, while the other workers just did similar tasks. At first time, it was pretty tough since he dealt with unfamiliar topics and took more time than any other people in the company. However, after three months, he becomes smart and knows about a wide variety of science. This makes him later one of the most famous journalist in my country. Since he learned innumerable information from different tasks, he wrote more specifically than average journalists. Additionally, working on unfamiliar topics helps to focus on tasks. This is because it is less boring and tedious than doing similar works, and employees become interested in different works. Also, they don’t treat as an arduous work, instead as an enjoyable task. According to the survey conducted by Harvard University, concentrations of work of people who have dissimilar tasks are 6 times greater than who have same tasks. This reveals that even though works are hard to figure out, people tend to more concentrate on. Although it is easy that constantly working on familiar topics, there are several advantages of challenging different sorts of jobs. |
