People whom a child stays with are very important to them in that people can influence the child since the education in the childhood is extremely important. The people mentioned here can be the child’s classmates or parents. In my opinion, the child’s classmates can play a bigger role in his/her life because they are the ones he/she stays with and understands each other the most.
Firstly, as children grow enough to go to attend a school which can be either kindergarten or elementary academy to them, they come to spend more time with their peers rather than their parents. While they spend their time together, they learn from each other through their friendships and discordances. To take an example of my childhood, I had some fights with my friends; although we sometimes disliked one another, we could learn how to overcome our downgraded relationship and how to apologize after the fights.
In addition to the first reason, their classmates understand them better than their parents in various ways. To take one of them, while their parents nag them when they do something wrong, their classmates can understand their situation since they have a better chance of experiencing the same event. For example, I was once addicted to one of the popular on-line games; I didn’t got out of it when my mom scolded me to stop, but when my friend told me how he stopped, I paid much attention to what he said and finally I stopped.
Overall, classmates are more important influence than parents on a child’s success in two main ways as I have shown above. By spending time with the child’s classmates, the child can learn lessons through their relationships and understanding each other’s mind heart by heart. It is important who the child will stay with because influences in child’s life can impact their success. |
