Many people believe that it is more interesting to go to a theater or a concert hall in order to watch a play or a live concert than seeing these events on TV. Some people say that participating in the events in person is extremely exiting since we can feel the atmosphere of the spot directly. However, I strongly believe that enjoying the performances at home is more joyful because I can be more relexed and save money.
First of all, I can watch the events very comfortably through TV. If we go to a concert hall to attend a live concert, we won't be able to seat before the show is over. On the other hand, at home, we can freely seat down on a couch and go to a restroom when we want to use a toilet. From my experience, I love to lie down on a couch and watch my favorite musician's concerts. It makes me feel exultant. It also help me relieve my stress from my hectic life. In this sense, seeing my favorite performances on a television makes me relexed.
On top of that, to go to a sports stadium or theater costs money. I have to pay not only for entering ticket fee, but also I need to spend a money for food and transportation fee. In particularly, some of concert tickets are really expensive. Although there are some people who don't mind paying more money for cultural events, for me, as a student who do not have much money, the performance is a big burden. For instance, this year, my most favorite pop musician came to my country and held a concert. The price of the ticket was 170 dollars. I really wanted to go the concert, but I could not afford this. Later, a DVD of the concert was released and I was available to see the concert at home. I was touching as much as at the concert hall and even saved my money. As seen above, I can watch events what I like at my home with lower cost.
In short conclusion, I prefer watch events, such as foot ball games and live concerts at home to at the spot. This is because of economic reasons and comfortable environment to see the events. However, it is not actually matter we can enjoy our favorite shows at anywhere. |
