Human activity makes the Earth a better place to live.
It is said that human activity improves the Earth to habitat. Many people agree with the idea because people actually make desolate places into dwellings for people. Las Vegas is the good example. However, in my opinion, human activity deteriorates the Earth in the long run that makes difficult to live for life due to excessive development and use of fossil fuels.
First of all, countries are developing the Earth rapidly in pursuit of better life. This might bring short term achievement. However this can bring disastrous consequences. For example, Brazil is developing lumber industry by destroying rain forest zone, which is known as the lung of the earth. Speed of destruction is exponential and it threats survival of the entire human being because the zone provides oxygen as well as absorbs Carbon dioxide. This clearly shows that human activity actually deteriorates the earth for human.
Also, use of fossil fuels endangers human being. According to scientists, fossil fuels are the main cause of global warming which seriously threatens survival of human beings. Due to the increase of temperature, the ice in North pole is rapidly melting away and sea level is rising unprecedentedly. This endangers not only human but also many species of life on Earth. New Zealand is having troubles because small countries in pacific ocean region is directly suffering from the risen sea level so they want to abandon their land and immigrate to New Zealand.
In brief, human activity tends to make the environment worse to live in the long run. This is because people develop the Earth recklessly also use fossil fuels without thinking of consequences. All in all, human activity should find a better way to bring convenience to human life but at the same time it should be sustainable way for the environment.
