Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Universities shoud give the same amount of money to their students' sports activities as they give to their libraries. |
If there were no sports, there would be a tons of people who suffered illness. That is one of several good reasons why I agree that university ought to support their students' sports activities as much they provide funds to their libraries.
One reason why I agree with the statement is that regular exercising is a pivotal to learners in this world. That is, there are no space to release students' accumulated stress in their school. Common sense tells us that proper sports activities such as jogging, swimming or playing soccer is beneficial to our health. From my personal experience, my classmates, Jane, had a hard time because she suffered depression while studying for last semester exam. She wanted to stress out somewhere, but there was nowhere to go. She said it would be great if there had been a swimming pool in university. The rationale behind this is that it is not convenient to get out of school to swimming in her free time just for an hour. In this sense, supporting a students' sports activities is necessary for learners' health.
Another compelling reason for this is that people who exercise frequently tend to do a better job than before. As old saying goes, "A sound mind in a sound body." pupils who exercise regularly tend to do a good job in his studying. Moreover, there are studies, pupils whose college have gymclasses got a higher grades than those people who don't have one. This proves that it has a high relations between studying from books and doing sports activities.
Even if obtaining knowledge from books is necessary to students, but keeping a healthy body is important as well. As mentioned above, university should expand a budget plan of their students' physical activities.
