having a high paying job is more important than being happy with a job |
Whether having a high paying job is more important than being satisfactory with a job could be a controversial issue. It seems reasonable that high salary is the best option for an occupation. However, in my personal opinion, being happy with a job is more crucial than having high salary. This is due to the fact that money can not buy happiness and it is easier to succeed with a satisfying job. First of all, money can not purchase happiness. It is true that people can afford lots of expensive materials with the money form high salary job. However, many people with high paying job find difficulties in their positions and are not satisfied with them. For instance, my brother, Noah Lee, had a very high paying job in In addition, people have more chance to succeed if they really enjoy their occupation. Of course, some might insist that high salary workers love their job. However, this is highly because of the money. People with passion to their job put more effort and love to what they do and in the end they achieve higher goals and become great people. According to the Times, one of the most popular weekly magazines in the world, more than 60% of Chief executive officers of ten main car companies in the world said they chose to do what they love rather than to have high salary job when they were young. In brief, without any doubt, I strongly support the idea that being happy with a job is more critical than having a high salary. This is because money can not obtain happiness and it is more likely to succeed with what people enjoy. Contemplating this problematic issue reinforces my desire to get a job that I really love and makes me happy. |
