Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is unrealistic for people to work at the same company for their entire lives. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. |
There are many reasons that people have to work at same company for their whole lives. Some people claim that it is ideal when people can get opportunities to work in a same firm through their lives. According to them, it is beneficial to people because it provide people to stable earning for entire lives. However, I definitely assert that it is unrealistic to remain at one firm because the competition is severe for people to keep their jobs in modern times and it keeps them from finding their well-suited occupation.
To start with, it is difficult to get opportunities to work at companies and maintain their positions in my country. It likes catching a star in the heaven. This is because there is too much demand but firms are not enough to satisfy with people’s requirements. To illustrate this point, my uncle graduated famous university in my country. At that time, getting a bachelor’s degree ensure people’s success. So everyone thought that he would be take ladder for his honor and wealth. However, after 20 years he got his job in news media, he got fired because there are too many capable people to substitute his position with cheaper prices. In addition, experiences gained from working in many companies help people choose the right one for them. People have their own talent for fitting to certain jobs. So procedures to find their jobs give chances to them for finding their talent. For doing these, people discover their rewarding to live their lives. For instance, my sister has worked in many different companies, from a huge enterprise to a small company with three colleagues for just 3 years. My parents were disappointed whenever he changed her jobs. At that time she always said that she was finding a perfect company for her. In the end, she got the best company which was fitted to her. If she had chosen to stay at one company, she would not have been able to find the right job. In conclusion, I firmly insist that the violent competitions to getting occupations and trial to find jobs to suit for people make people remain one job for entire their lives. Although the stability of working for one company is appealing, it prevents employees from truly growing in their professional careers. |
