▶ Your Answer :
Undoubtedly,
leaning in school plays a vital role in today’s daily lives in many of the
places where people play or study. Some people think that it is better to go to
school early in the morning for learning than to start school later in the
morning while others do not. Both sides may have their own reasons to support
their views. If I were asked to choose one, I would say that It is better to
start school later in the morning. There are several reasons as follows.
To
begin with, when students go to school later in the morning, they can improve
academic performance. This is because they can have enough time to take a
sleep. It can enhance blood flow to the brain. An increase in the amount of
blood flow to the brain is likely to improve their mental performance. For
example, many research teams, including university of Kyoto, have analyzed data
from two groups of students. One group consisted of those who were students in
school start at 10 am and the other group was made up of those who were students
in school start at 8 am. The researchers found that the former was more likely
to have a higher score on the SAT than the latter. In particular, the first
group showed a longer attention span in class, having more positive thinking,
and less time to doze off. On the other hand, the second group tended to be got
distracted easily, having more negative thinking, and more time to doze off.
This implies that going to school later in the morning is key to success
academically. Without this, one would fall behind.
Also,
going to school later in the morning can improve emotional bond in their
relationship. Having enough time with family in the morning gives them a chance
to socialize with their loved one by getting to know, understanding each other,
and having more time with them. It is likely to prevent them from feeling
lonely in their life. For example, when my sister was in high school, she often
felt that her life became exhausting routine. To survive a competitive world,
she spent the whole day studying academic subjects, hoping that she could outdo
others. However, it was not easy because everyone was working as hard as she
was. Fortunately, she was able to handle with such stress and pressure by transferring
different school that starts at 10 am. By doing this, she was able to let off
some steam by enjoying time in the morning, such as having breakfast with family,
having small talking, and hugging each other every day. Without this, she would
still have been depressed.
