Stress is regarded as pressure or worry caused by the problems in one’s life. As we have seen, there is no man in this world without some stress, though he is king or president. Thus, everyone may have their own ways of reducing the stress from people to people. The best ways of relieving stress for me are talking to my friend and going shopping.
First of all, one way of my refreshment is chatting with my friend. I firmly believe that to share with someone is to make less the depth of worry. When something bad happens to me, I want to get it off my chest. That is why I visit and call my best friends. My best friend silently listens to my complaints and troubles, and sympathizes with me. Never until I wind up a talk does she stop me with anything, such as the blame, a know-it-all, or ignorance. After telling, I feel refreshed and comfortable, and then she gives me some sound advice for myself. I always thank to my friend. In this regard, I often come to see and talk to my friend when stressed-out.
Moreover, I enjoy going shopping to escape my stress. While seeing nice goods, above all, which I want to buy, including beautiful bags, cute shoes, or pretty shirts, I can forget odds and ends. I love to read a book and to get one. When buying some books, accordingly, I feel so satisfied and joyful. Besides, during shopping, I walk to various shops far more than ever before and usually eat so delicious food in a roadside stand. According to the Times, one of popular weekly magazines in Korea, more than 50 percent of the female population goes shopping when they are stressed-out. In this manner, such shopping plays pivotal role in alleviating stress.
In a nutshell, without the slightest doubt, it is too dangerous to build up stress. When stressed out, I am irritable and easily angry to others. Therefore, I often alleviate stress by having a chat and shopping. In the modern society, although it is impossible to live a stress-free life, we have to develop our best way of lowering our stress level. This is mainly because it is related to our health, as saying goes saying ‘a sound mind in a sound body.’
