There is an argument that on where
it is better for kids to grow up between the urban region and the rural region. Some
people might think that an the urban
region is better to raise their kids. However, in my opinion I personally
believe that a the rural region is better
more suitable for offspring to grow up in than the urban
region. Because there are two reasons as follows.
First, there is a the green effect that
makes children’ emotions
to be stable and the other reason is that kids can spend time with family.
To begin with, a the central
district of a province (province는 지방입니다) is so dangerous to
young kids due to many people. The most of big cities have a
tendency that they are business commercial districts,
so all things occurred occur much
quickly. To be specific, they have high car accident rates, whereas a the
rural region is not only safe, but also good to make children’s have a stable emotional state through the green effect. the green color green has an effect to make people comfortable. There
is a study conducted by a group of professors who major
in psychology of in Chon-Buk National
University, with 120 kids as distributed in an
experimental group and a control group. The purpose of this was to determine that
which place is more optimal to develop kid’s emotional state to be stable. The
study consisted of two groups. The experimental group had 60 kids who lived
in rural areas and the rest of kids who lived in
urban areas belonged to the
control group. The professor began to track their life story for 5 years, and
the researchers did some case experiment to them. Finally they concluded there
was a phenomena that in the former group, kids had a
relaxed condition in any situation, whereas in the latter
group, kids had a tendency to have exaggerated reactions
against bad circumstances to them.
On top of that, if kids live in a small village, they will be able to
make more precious memories with their family
relatively than other kids who lived in a big cities. This is because urban kids had to go to somewhere such as an
academic institution for developing their study capacity, whereas at that time,
rural kids could enjoy time with family. As a result, it will affected relationship in the family. Let me give you my
personal experience as an example. When I was 6 years-old living I lived in Jeon-ju, one of the biggest city in South
Korea, and I began to go to an English academy. I always had to spend time doing
homework. Although my parents wanted to have time with me, I had to do my
assignment. However we could relocate to a rural
region due to my brother’s skin disease. And then, I found that there was no
stress from something like study because of only little institutions. It seemed like that those who were living in there
didn’t think seriously about studying study.
So I could make more valuable time with my family, escaping stress from a
study pressure.
To sum up, the green effect can make kids more stable and the green
is more located in countryside and kids will make more precious memories with family. In this regard, I strongly believe
that the countryside is better for kids to grow up.
