▶ Your Answer :
Various
opinions may exist over the argument whether it is not desirable to expect
politeness in a busy and crowded place. As far as I am concerned, I am in
complete disagreement with the argument. The two ideas stated below can be
valid evidence to support my view.
First
of all, although the place is very busy and crowded, people should expect politeness
because it has many benefits. Most importantly, being polite and calm in a
crowded and busy places shows outstanding effectiveness in improving social
skills. Modern society admittedly requires people who surpass others both in
specialty and sociability. To be more specific, it is essential for everyone to
know how to mingle well with others and avoid conflicts. Therefore, given the
need for collaboration in any places today, being polite and patience in
crowded places, such as subway in the morning, clearly is more vital in
building a more promising. A research conducted by a renowned professor named
Steven Thomson from Pittsburgh University indicates that people who is patience
and polite in a crowded places attain the goal of patience in a much more
effectual way whereas having the same accomplishment is somewhat difficult for
people who is not polite. Likewise, his research proves that although it is a
busy and crowded places, people should be polite.
On
top of that, it is desirable to expect politeness in a busy and crowded places because
it can usher people into the right direction by teaching them moral lessons and
the true value of life. Some people are immature to have thorough
understandings of life and are likely to be incapable of coping with problems
at pivotal moments of their lives. At such times, being polite and patience in
a crowded places offers chances for maturation and enlightens them about
important values so that they can become a better person. According to a
private survey conducted by Seoul National University of Korea, an anonymous
respondent answered that he was strongly influenced by his politeness and
patience in busy places. He also responded that if it had not been for the
experience in a crowded place, he might not have been able to have polite
personality.
Taking
all these reasons into consideration, we should agree with the idea since it is
important to learn patience and maturation. Needless to say, there is no doubt
in my opinion that it is desirable to expect politeness in a busy and crowded
place.
