Various opinions may exist whether if
parents wish to see their children succeed in life, they should set strict
rules for them. As far as I am concerned, I am in complete agreement with the
argument. The two ideas below presented can be valid evidence to support my
view.
First of all, regulations make children
study harder. Modern society admittedly requires people who surpass others in
specialty, and many companies require the one's level of study such as
transcript to check the candidates' talent. If children have to follow strict
rules, they are able to get higher scores and better grades in their school.
Therefore, making regulations clearly is more vital in building a more
promising future. A research conducted by a renowned professor named Gary
Peterson from Seoul National University indicates that students who keep their
rules can achieve much higher GPA than those with no rules.
On top of that, children can get regular
life patterns by strict regulations. So, they would not waste their time.
Today, many adults know that time is the most important resource, and many
children use up their precious time to play with others only. By having strong
regulations, however, they could exploit time for only what they should do. In
order to have regular life patterns and use their time efficiently, parents
require children strong rules. According to a recent survey by a world top-tier
university, 92% of students in the university have had strong rules. They also
responded that if it had not been for their regulations, they might not have
been in the university.
To sum up, I believe my explanations above
sufficiently prove the advantages of having strict rules. Obviously, the
significance of harder and making regular life patterns cannot be
overemphasized. Thus, children are required some strict regulations to gain
these benefits.
