▶ Your Answer : Some people think that they attend
college for new experiences or increased knowledge. These reasons are nice but
such things are just detailed reasons about main reason. I think main reason
about attending college or university is for career preparation. This is
because in college, students could learn more specific about their future
career and they also could become expertise in their major.
First, most
students attend college and choose major for their future job which they want
to do. This is because many companies require people to graduate university or
college diploma. For example, five years ago, my sister went college and she
learned about music education to become a music teacher. This is because to
become a public school teacher, people could get license only after gradate
from university. Now, she is finally working in public school as a music
teacher. Without her college diploma, it would be impossible for her to get her
job now.
Second, students
could become an expertise through studying specific field in college. In middle
school and high school, all students learn same required classes. However, in
college, students can choose and learn about particular area in depth. And
there are highly qualified professors who can give them the best directions. So
after they graduate from university, they could become expertise in their
field. Therefore, they could enter company easier than people who do not
graduate college.
To sum up, many
university or college students attend college for their career preparation.
Also, through colleges, students could be professional in their major. For
these reasons, I strongly believe that students go to colleges or universities
for their future job. |
