▶ Your Answer : Today, many families move to another city or
country for several reasons. Some people argue that it is not good for families
with children to move to a new town or country because the children lose their
friends. However, as far as I am concerned, moving to a new city or country is
good for the children.
First of all, I believe that moving to a new town
can help children with their education. By and large, many families move to a developed
city as there is a better environment for children to study. For example, a
number of people migrate to U.S. for better condition to learn English.
Moreover, people in Korea frequently move to Seoul as there are many institutions
and privileged schools. More specifically, there are many excellent teachers
and excellent students in a developed country. By competing with them, children
can improve themselves. Although the children might miss their friends, they can
enjoy these kinds of educational benefits.
Another reason why moving to a new city is
not a bad idea for the children is that they can make new friends in a new
place. Generally, many parents worry that their children might have
difficulties in getting along with new friends if they move to another town or
country. However, it is not true. Children have enough ability to make new
friends and during the process, they can learn to get close with strangers. For
instance, when I was nine years old, I moved to a new town. At first, I was
confused and embarrassed in the crowd of strangers. However, after a few weeks,
I could make many new friends.
In a nutshell, it is not harmful for families with children to move
to a new place. This is because the children can enjoy educational advantages and
they can make new friends in a new city. |
