▶ Your Answer :
There are some people who believe that
going to museums is a good way to get to know a country. However, I personally
believe that there are other better ways to understand and learn about the
country for two subsequent reasons. First, visiting the country is more
efficient. Second, using the internet is quick and convenient.
To begin with, one sightseeing worths
hundreds of words. To be specific, traveling a country is more efficient in
understanding culture. Also, those vivid memories from the travel last longer.
For example, when I first visited New Zealand, I not only went to museums but
also traveled all around the country. I could have chances to meet native
people, Maori, and could learn their culture by participating in their rituals
in a preserved town. Although the trip was 10 years ago, I still remember their
culture such as how much they consider the nature, and why they worship their
holly land. However, frankly, I do not remember what I saw and what I
understood in the museums. From this experience, I believe that visiting a
country is much more efficient than going to museums.
On top of that, there is another better way
to learn about a country, the internet. The arrival of internet changed our
lives in diverse ways. This is because the internet is really fast, accessible,
and convenient in searching for the information. Furthermore, an increased
penetration of smartphone accelerated this trend. Therefore, people can easily
get information about a country. For instance, you can access to Youtube and
watch particular country's national news. More surprising thing is that even
museums have e-museums so that everyone in the world can look around the
contents of those museums whenever they want.
To sum up, visiting a country and using the
internet are better ways to get to know a country. In this regard, I believe
that going to museums is not the best option. |
