▶ Your Answer : Some people think that hasty decisions often bring them beneficial outcomes. However, in my opinion, making quick decisions always result in poor situations. This is because we are not able to consider fallout and generate opportunities for creating better alternatives when we decide quickly.
To begin with, people are not capable of considering all potential problems in short time. There is no time to rethink and amend their misunderstanding. As a result, when something people couldn't imagine happens, they cannot handle it. For example, when I was a freshman, I had to do a part-time job to finance school. I considered between two. One is a cashier of a supermarket near my house and the other one is a bakery located closely as well. I was assured that the manager of the supermarket would pick me up for that vacancy and due date of the application was tomorrow. So, I applied for that job opening of the supermarket and did nothing to get a part-time job in the bakery. However, I couldn't elected. And at that time, the bakery already picked up a new part-timer. In consequence, I should have gotten a job far from my home.
On top of that, quick decisions deprive us of the chances to think about the alternatives which are able to bring better results to us. About one issue, there are majority of solutions. However, we have a slim chance of considering them when we should make hasty decisions. For instance, One of my cousins wanted to eat lunch but he should have taken a subway arriving in no time. Quickly, he entered a convenience store, and bought bread. As soon as he got out of that store, he regretted that he could purchase the one located next to what he chose. That one had better taste and more reasonable price. As this case reveals, hasty decisions make people's eyes blind.
To sum up, hasty decisions deter us from spending more time thinking about unrecognized hazard and other great choices. In this regard, I strongly support the idea of having enough time before making decisions.
