▶ Your Answer : It is debatable whether getting advice and help from older people is better than getting advice from peers. This is an intriguing question because opinions concerning this issue can be different depending on the individual perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support that getting advice and help from older people is a lot better than from peers.
The reason is that getting advice and help from older people is more effective way to solve the problems. To be specific, there are valuable lessons and knowledge which people cannot gain through their peers as well as themselves. This is because having lived a long time, older people have already experienced many things in life, and thus they have a bigger viewon matters such as how to succed, how to live happiily, and how to socialize. Therefore,as people discuss the problem with older people, people can learn how to deal with unfamiliar situations and possible difficulties in more flexible ways. In addditon, their suggestions are likely to reduce the chance of making a mistake. For example, when I was in college, I earned money by having part-time job which is nursing a baby. I have never experienced taking care of babies, neither have my friends. So when I started that part-time job for the first time, I was very embarrased with baby's crying. Furthermore, I did not know exactly how to lift babies comfotably but also how to react babies behaviors. Therefore I asked my peers to give advice, however they have not dealt with nursing babies. On the other hand, my grandmother raised my mother as well as me. Hence, she taught me various methods and tips that I could use in practical. As a result I could save a time to ask for advice from peers and I performed caring a baby effectively and perfectly.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that getting advice and help from older people is essential rather than from peers. All things considered, it is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has been effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above. Never should we forget that this issue may have a huge impact on our future.
