Part 1

- What do you like to drink with your dinner? [Why?]

Well, I like to drink water with my dinner because other drink like beer, coke, it would harm my health so I don't like drink that and I usually drink water with my dinner.

• Do you drink a lot of water every day? [Why/Why not?]

I drink a lot of water every day because I often feel thirty and the water makes me healthy so that's why i drink a lot of water.

• Do you prefer drinking tea or coffee? [Why?] 

I prefer to drink coffee after lunch because after meal, l feel sleepy so coffee makes me more focusing on what I do.

• If people visit you in your home, what do you usually offer them to drink? [Why/Why not?]

When people visit my home and i ask them what they want to drink. And I usually offer them coffee. If We have a drink together, we can talk a lot of things with drink.

Part 2

Describe a monument (e.g., a statue or sculpture) that you like. You should say: what this monument is where this monument is/ what it looks like/  and explain why you like this monument

For me, It's a medal and it's silver medal like Olympic medal. When I was in high school, I was a water polo player and I got this in the biggest competition in Korea. I store it in my home with medal case. It looks like necklace and made by silver and circle, it shaped with a person with flag on the medal. I love it.

Part 3

Public monuments

- What kinds of monuments do tourists in your country enjoy visiting? 

Well, I think the tourists visit our country, they usually visit the historic monuments like Gwanghwa-mun, Namdae-mun and so on. It's located in Seoul. If they visit there, they can find the big palace, yes, it looks like palace. And also, they can find the trophy and it shaped coronel 'Soonsin Lee' and he is an hero in our history so that's why tourists usually visit there.

- Why do you think there are often statues of famous people in public places? 

Well, it's because they have to remember their career and what they do. For example, in Seoul, there is a statues of general called 'Soonsin Lee'and it's located in middle of the city. And he was born in Chosun dynasty and he saved the country from Japanese warrior at that time. So he is an hero in Korea so that's why his statues is located in the city.

- Do you agree that old monuments and buildings should always be preserved?

Yes, I agree that the old monuments and buildings should always be preserved. Because if people can find easily, so it makes the tourists can visit easily and it help them to remember Korea. So that's why I agree with that and also I think it doesn't harm to people's life so that's why these things should always be preserved.

Architecture 

- Why is architecture such a popular university subject?

Well, I think architecture is a popular university subject because it's really meaningful for them. Architector build a lot of things such as apartment and gym and so on. It's really useful skills in people's life. As they build a lot of things in the city, people can enjoy their life.

- In what ways has the design of homes changed in recent years?

Well, in the past, a lot of homes made by bricks. So, when i go countryside, I can easily find apartment that made by bricks.

I think the homes made by concrete and cement and so on. Because I think that makes home more warm and protects from bad weather such as rain and strong wind and so on.

- To what extent does the design of buildings affect people’s moods? 

Well, I think it highly effects people's mood. Because there is a building with great and beautiful design in the city, it makes citizens happy and they will proud of it. They will think about this building as a landmark in the city and it will be a popular place and it leads to tourist place. And the city will be popular as a tourist and it's good for the city and citizen.
