Your Answer ▼Some believe that they can use freshwater anytime (아무때나와, 얼마든지 상관없이는 약간의 의미 차이가 있고, 후자 쪽으로 작성해주셔야 합니다.) they want, however, other people think that the use of freshwater should be managed by governments because it is one of our shortaged natural assets. Those two perspectives have has their own justifications, however, I personally feel that the latter is more convincing.
To begin with, it is true that individuals can freely use the freshwater because they perform other roles as citizens like paying tax or voting for nation’s authorities. Moreover, the governments have to provide freshwater for everyone since it is one of their responsibilities. There should not be an unfairness when people try to use water for their daily life. However, if governments control the amount of water uses, some poor people possibly cannot receive enough freshwater. No matter whether what the person is rich or poor, young or old, they should be eligible for using national resources.
On the other hand, it is commonly known that public do not have enough natural resources including freshwater. By consuming a massive amount of freshwater, people also have been facing the environmental problems such as drought and mountain fire. In near future, this will bring negative effects on society if there is no limitation of using water. In particular, one negative effect is the fact that individuals cannot use clean water due to the lack of water. For example, in China china, many people are suffering from contagious water since they are having a problem of water shortage. This problem can be gradually mitigated by governments with strong regulations of water uses.
In conclusion, in our everyday lives, people often think that they can use freshwater anytime for now, however, it is apparent that water shortage cause harmful effects on the environment if there is no strict regulations operating by the governments. |
