People believe that a variety of TV channels is good for the public,
however, others insist that this would be disadvantageous to the quality of
programs. Both have their rational reasons, but I think the latter is more
acceptable.
There are those who assert that suggesting tremendous TV channels is beneficial
to the public. Since watching TV shows has become the easiest hobby to spend
time, anybody is keen on enjoying their favorite
and preferred TV programs. In this situation, the masses who tend to watch only
what they want to would unimaginable benefits through suggested uncountable channels.
Moreover, watching their favorite TV programs is an important way to relieve
people’s daily stress, so many of them would get relaxed more and this helps to
make better people’s psychological issues. That is the reason why individuals
have been choosing more optional TV program provider.
However, others reckon that increased TV channels have caused decreased TV program quality. It is true that even though there have been so
many TV channels, most of them just have been broadcasting the same TV program
series and do not produce new ones. The public wants to relish any shows that
they have never seen before, but it is almost impossible to find the newly
broadcasted ones in plenty of channels. That is because already many
people have felt tired of repeated TV shows, thereby pursuing other things as
their alternatives like an easy exercise, reading books or playing video games.
In conclusion, I think that despite various kinds of TV channels, people
hardly can choose some high-quality TV programs that they really want to enjoy.
Thus, it is not good for the public and this has led downgraded TV programs. |
