Some people believe that giving as much as freedom for children to decide their own matters is negative, because such a discipline can make them selfish. However, others argue that choosing their own matters by themselves is more benificial to children to become a mature adults in the future. Even though the both arguments are persuative, but I support the latter.
Allowing children to choose all their everyday matters can make them selfish adults and this causes problems on the society in the long run. The society is a collective organization, in which people should cooperate and sometimes, sacrify sacrifice themselves for the shake of the development of the society. However, if citizens (이렇게 작성하면 people 과 society 가 반복되는 것을 동시에 피할 수 있죠.) the people of the society only concern their own matters, it could be much difficult to persue the mutual goals of the society. There is news that many charities are having troubles to raise money nowadays, and I think this situation has strong link with the trend, which is in which children are becoming more selfish.
In contrast, giving many chances for children to decide their matters can be a good practice and learning process in order to be a independent personals when they grow up. Being diffrent from childhood, an mature adult should choose everything by themselves and take responsibility of what they do completely. For that reason, deciding their own matters from childhood can be a good descipline in the long run. If they do not have this ability when they grow up, they would still be dependent on are still depend on their parents, and become 'Mama boys'.
In conclusion, I support the idea that children should choose their matters, because, a mature personal should be indepent and it can be a good practice for them. Also, I belive that only mature people can help to develop the society where they are belong to in a positive direction. |
