Nowadays, parents
insist that a number of advertisements (commercial 이라는 동의어가 존재합니다.) aimed at children have negative effects
while advertisers mention that advertisements contain useful information. In
this essay, I will look into both of views with my opinion.
For parents’
perspective, if more and more advertisements targeted children are coming out,
children could easily develop more desires. In other words, they sincerely want
to get specific items even though it is not necessary. For instance, children
these days already have a wide range of toys as well as snacks regardless of their
health. They get to know it by being exposed exposing to a number of advertisement and argue
that they need to buy to their parents until parents give them what they want.
As a result, children end up getting the goods though it is not essential to them.
Also, they desire having unhealthy snacks. This shows that massive amount of
advertisements for children have negative implications on not only parents but also children.
For advertisers’
perspective, advertisers assert that all advertisements that they make include are including
helpful news. One of the most obvious examples is that parents should let their
kids get high-quality outer in winter. As everyone knows, clothings for winter
tend to cost a fortune. When parents try to buy expensive items for kids, they
can compare countless clothes by using the advertisements. By doing so, consumers
would purchase perfect items for specific purpose with reasonable price as well
as advertisers would make profits. In this aspect, advertisements not only have
useful information but also optimistic effects on customers.
In conclusion, when
it comes to advertisements targeted children, parents think that numerous number
of advertisements have negative implications, whereas advertisers say that parents
could gain useful information from a variety of advertisements. I personally
believe that advertisements have both negative and positive effects thereby the
