Your Answer ▼ Task1: This given table displays data on the sources of generated electricity for five selected European countries, namely, France, Germany, Norway, Spain and the UK.
It is clear that Germany generates the highest amount of energy in total. It is also worth pointing out that Norway produces less electricity among the countries.
Looking at the graph in more detail, Germany takes a first place in category of total producing 524.7billion kilowatt-hours followed by France and the UK. Especially, the most common energy made in Germany is Thermal, 335.8billion kilowatt-hours. The second place of total generated electricity is France and this nation makes nuclear the most, which is more than Germany and the other countries.
With regards to the country, which generates the smallest amount of electricity is Norway. However, this country generates the biggest amount of Hydro at about 108.7billion kilowatt-hours while the others produce less than 100billion kilowatt-hours. Moreover, Norway is the only one, which does not produces Nuclear at all.
Task2: People have different views about many companies are allowing their workers to work from home. Some people believe this offers numerous advantages, there are also negative effects which are worth considering.
On the one hand, there are some grounds to support the view that there are some problems with this option. First of all, they could not concentrate on their tasks. There are lots of distruptions in the house like TV and sofa. These things make people lazy and therefore, make them send their works to boss right before the deadline. Moreover, people have to make their own routine in their home just like working in the company. Workers should seperate their time by themselves because there are no people in home who monitor the workers. If people do not make a plan of working, they could not take their time well and the efficiency of working could be decreased.
On the other hand, it is also suggested that working from home could benefit employees in many ways. To begin with, employees could save their time. They do not have to ride a car or bus so they would not have traffic problems and late to companies. They could spend more energy and times on works. Not only, but the time spending with family will increase. They do thier duties in home so after work, they could have meals and have nice times with their family. This will make family connection higher and their happiness will grow. In addition, in extratime after work, employees could have their time for hobby and studying other things they want to learn.
In conclusion, while I recognised the possible disadvantages of allowing employees to do their tasks in home, I consider it to be a positive option overall. Hence, it is important to weigh up pros and cons before making a decision. |
