Nowadays, there are a variety of opinions on the employment of dangerous sports. Some people argue that the government should make regulations to ban dangerous sports. Meanwhile, others say that the freedom that we can enjoy any sports we like, even those are not safe, should be gained freely. This essay contends that the government should not ban dangerous sports, saying other measures to deal with the problem.
To begin with, it is obvious that dangerous sports can make injuries to the people who enjoy the sports. Practically, many people have experienced diverse injuries from minimal extent to hazardous extent. If there are laws that totally ban dangerous sports, those will be able to reduce accidents from dangerous sports.
However, wholly prohibiting dangerous sports that many people love can’t be a fundamental measures to cope with the problems. There still would be the people who want to play the sports and those people would enjoy those sports illegally, which leads them to conflict with the government. Consequently, the regulations that prohibit dangerous sports would not be able to stop the people to play those sports and make just counter-effects to them who like the sports.
In my personal opinion, the government should make minimal regulations and more promotions about the safety rules which are relevant to dangerous sports. For instance, there are safety advertisements to heighten the awareness of people and some minimal regulations to lessen the extent of the accidents such as wearing a helmet. Those methods would be able to reduce the hazard from playing dangerous sports.
All in all, I believe that the laws totally prohibiting dangerous sports can’t be a fundamental measures to handle the problem. This essay claims that the government should make only minimal regulations, not strict prohibitions, saying other practical methods to raise the safety of people. |
