The bar graph
and table illustrate the number of attendances in different entertainment
places, with the admission price entering those venues in 2009.
According to
the bar chart, the highest number of attendances was over 1,000,000 in the
cinemas. This figure was nearly four times as many as the case of theme parks
and more eight times than that of sports. The number of sports recorded just
less than 200,000, which was the smallest one in all categories.
Turning to the
table, on the other hand, the admission price of football game tended to be
more expensive than others. The ticket prices per person in football games
including AFL, NRL, and NRU were all over $280, while the case of cinema was
only $55. The gap was over approximately between 5 and 6 times. Compared to the
admission price of theme parks, the ticket price per person in the cinema was
much cheaper at $15. These tendencies of price deviation could applied exactly
same to the case of the family ticket.
To sum up, the
most outstanding feature was the attendances number of cinemas, which recorded
overwhelmed figure comparing with the case of other entertainment venues. The
price of cinema, however, recorded the cheapest figure, while ticket prices in
football games reached the highest figures in all categories of ticket. It
seems that there is a strong linkage between low price of admission ticket and
the number of attendances at diverse entertainment venues in 2009. |
