▶ Your Answer :
These days, across
the world, judgement about other people is determined by what a person have such
as social status, amount of money, and so on. Some people maintain that in
living on capitalism system, we cannot escape from this tendency. I generally
agree with this view and I will discuss the reason below.
First of all, we
cannot have a time with other people compared to the past. This is caused by
changing living environments such as centered on city life style, which is likely
to be busy and stressful. Besides, with the society becoming more complex, people
have to learn more and think of other person as competitors. Therefore, in like
these situations, if people want to know other people during short time and continue
to have a relationship with them, a person have no choice but to judge them
according to having visible things firstly.
Moreover, most media
stimulate these phenomena further. In capitalism system, all of economy actors
have to inform and sell their resources competitively. For instance, if you
turn on the TV right now, you can easily experience a lot of advertisements for
selling products. The force of stimulating buying something is very strong,
thus even if a product is not necessary for them, they may buy it. The case of
marketing on home-shopping can be fitted in this situation. Many women have addicted
it, calling them shopping-addiction. Like the present time, selling and
advertising happen enormous times, old-fashioned values such as friendship,
love, and so on are weaker and weaker.
In conclusion, as
time goes by, I think the tendency of consuming harder and judging other people
with belongings become strengthened more and more. Therefore, we need to reflect
our life and innovate our system for understanding deeply what the most
valuable things are in our life. |
