It is a common belief that spending more
money on traveling is disadvantageous to individuals in general. However, there
is a more persuasive opinion that higher expenditure on traveling would be more
beneficial with a rise in happiness of individuals and the productivity of
society.
On the one hand, some people say the trend
with higher-expenses-on-trip is a root of the poverty in the elderly period by
making it hard to beforehand prepare the livelihood of the senior age. As people
get older, low or none of productivity is inevitable. Thus, pension, which
should have been saved during the time in youth, would be a sole and a valuable
monetary source that could sustain the lives of the elderly. With an empty hand,
poor unhappiness is the anticipated future.
Nevertheless, the economic burden spent on journey
could be sufficiently reimbursed by a higher sense of happiness, leading an improvement
of the productivity of individuals. Positively energetic feelings, attributed
to the relaxing time on travel, and higher productivity always go hand in hand
when establishing an achievement. For examples, introducing a vacation constructs
a high-productivity-prone cycle not only by making individuals look forward to
the time but also by lessening the amount of stress from workplaces during the free
time.
To sum up, while there are some
disadvantages for young people to spend more money on traveling, it is evident
that the higher level of satisfaction and higher productivity which are derived
from enjoying holidays outweigh the disadvantage. |
