▶ Your Answer :
It is true that global warming is one of
the major problems we have in recent years. It is believed that various human
activities are primary reasons for this phenomenon. Before things get worse,
the government and citizens should find measures to alleviate this problem.
It is an undeniable fact that human
activities are the main causes of global warming. First of all, gas emissions
generated by motor vehicles create green house gases, which contribute to have
our planet warm. Also, the fossil fuels we use in industries are the polluters
as well. In addition to this, deforestation caused by urban sprawl and development
of industry also facilitates the pace of global warming. People reckless cut
trees in wet lands to expand their usable lands to build more factories and
houses.
To prevent damages caused by global
warming, the government and individuals have to closely work together. To begin
with, the government can implement campaigns that encourage the use of bicycle
or public transport such as trams, buses and undergrounds. Another way to
reduce the use of personal motor vehicle is putting more taxes on petrol and
cars, because a substantial amount of citizens would not be able to drive if
petrol and cars are expensive. As an individual, we can plant trees around to
offset the amount of gases generated by factories and cars. Also, we should
stop cutting tons of trees to develop cities because it takes a very long time
to form forestation.
In a nutshell, global warming is
accelerated by human activities such as deforestation and burning fossil fuels.
To prevent the side effect caused by global warming, the government and
individuals should cooperate in planting trees, stop developing green land and
use public transport as much as they can.
