▶ Your Answer :
The bar charts illustrate the percentage of computer ownership from
2002 to 2010, with changing computer ownership by education level in the same
period.
According to the first bar chart, the rate of computer ownership
increased steadily during that time. In 2002, the percentage started below 60%,
but reached nearly 80% in 2010, which recorded about 20% increase.
Turing to the second bar chart, in all of the groups the year 2010 had
high percentages more than the year 2002. The most outstanding feature,
however, was the same trend in 2002 and in 2010. In other words, as level of education
was higher and higher, the percentage of computer ownership was larger and
larger. In 2002 and in 2010, the cases of people who have over master’s degree were
about 70% and 90% respectively, which was approximately seven times and two
times as many as the case of people who have under high school diploma
respectively.
To sum up, the rate of computer ownership increased continuously during
that period. Besides, it seems that there is a linkage between the percentage
of computer ownership and level of education.
