needs in 2007 and 2009.
In general, people
used the net the most for three major purposes, shopping, banking and books,
while they least used the web for playing video games and watching TV.
According to the data,
people used the internet most frequently for buying something, and this trend
even more increased from just over 40 percent in 2007 to approximately 55
percent in 2009. On the other hand, video games and TV were least used through
the web in 2007 (15% and 10% respectively), though both figures rose in 2009 (20%
and 18% respectively).
There is also
noticeable change that in 2007, people used web for books more than banking,
with around 38 percent and 35 percent respectively, however these trend was
reversed in 2009, recording 30 percent and 45 percent. For chatting, it increased
slightly but learning rather fell over the last 2 years.
