Some people think that foreign visitors should be charged more than locals when they visit cultural and tourist attractions in a country. To what extent do you agree with this view?

It is often said that foreign visitors should pay more fee than local residents to travel tourist attractions in a country. However, I am firmly opposite to this statement for several reasons.
First of all, requiring more payment to foreigners for looking around the attractions could have a detrimental impact on country's economy. If there is discrimination between foreigners and locals, the overall reputation of a nation is able to be damaged. As a result, the number of arrivals from foreign country and the profits from them will decrease which is one of the big parts of a country's income.
Secondly, the local people could get hospitality from other countries' people when they provides good services to foreign travelers. Tourists are the mirror of the locals who are travelling foreign lands. Hence, if the nation hope to get great treatment in overseas countries, they need to ban bad behaviors to tourists like charging more fee than locals about travelling tourist attractions.
In conclusion, I believe that there should be no discrimination between foreigners and local people about the expense of tourist spots because of harmful effect to the country's economy and the reputation of the nation from foreigners.
