The table represents
information on how much people in five countries spent money on three different
kinds of goods in the year 2002.
Overall, the
proportions of money that people spent for food, drinks and tobacoo were the highest
all states in 2002. This was followed by money for clothing or footwear and leisure
or education.
Looking at the
graph more closely, the percentages of consumption of food, drinks and tobacco in
five states were more higher 15%. It is notable that the figure for Turkey was the
highest, amounting to 32.14%, while that for Sweden was 15.77%. When it comes to
the proportion for clothing and footwear, the percentage of expenditure in Italy
was higher than other countries, registering 9%. The figures for other states were
less than 7%. In terms of leisure and education, the percentages for all countries
were not more than 4% except for Turkey which used 4.35% of the budget for them.
