Overall, there were three categories of consumption such as food, drinks and tobacco spending, clothes and shoes spending, and leisure and education spending in 2002. To begin with, people live in Turkey was the most highest spending in food, drinks, and tobacco consumption and leisure and education consumption at 32.14 and 4.35 percent, respectively. While clothes and foot wears were spent 9.00 percent by Italian, and this figured the most highest consumption among the five countries. It is also notable that Sweden showed the lowest spending in food, drinks, and tobacco consumption and clothes and shoes consumption. These figured 15.77 and 5.40 percent in 2002, respectively. Moreover, Spanish spent only 1.98 percent in leisure and education spending and followed by Irish at 2.21 percent in 2002. To conclude, it is apparent that all five countries spent most of their money to consume food, drinks, and tobacco, but only less than 5 percent of money were spent to leisure and educational purpose by five countries. |
