Your Answer ▼ There are pressing arguments whether a restriction should be exist when artists depict their thoughts, or it is an intrusion of rights to express freely. I strongly contend that artists can perfect their paintings as the way they want. However, I also agree that a criteria is needed when the paintings are showing shown to others. Freedom is one of the basic human rights that everyone retains inherently, thus no one can violate other's freedoms. The same Same goes for artists. They are ought to express themselves by their works. If they are constrained from perfecting to perfect their works based on their thoughts and ideas, it would not different with torture to them (torture 와 다를 것이 없다라는 의미로 적어주셨나요?). It is because their main aim to do art is to describe what is in their minds. However, if that freedom is intrusive to other's rights or has a bad affect to those who are shown, there will be a need to regulate when showing others. It is because it might be disturbing to people who is seen. For example, at my school, when it is festival of paintings that students exhibit their pictures during the school festival, teachers always ensure if the there are not paintings of aggressively or sexually inappropriate beforehand. However, even if the works are inappropriate to show to the public, there will be no problem if they own it by themselves without exhibiting. All in all, I certainly opine that no one can restrict the artists from expressing their thoughts on their works. On the other hand, the certain criteria is a certain criteria should be necessitated when it comes to showing to the public.
