The graph shows the increasing proportion of elderly who are older than 65 years in Japan, Sweden, and USA as time goes by.
In 1940, the elderly ratio of all three countries is less than 10 percents. However, the ratio rise continually up, and it finally reach more than 20 percents in 2040 for all of three countries. However, the rate of each country's change is different from each other. The ratio of Japan increases more than 20 percents, while the ratio of Sweden increases less than 20 percents.
As a result, among three countries, the proportion of the elderly in Japan most rapidly increases. It increases from 5 percents to more than 25 percents. On the other hand, the ratio in USA most slowly changes-from about 10 percents to about 23 percents. Finally, the ratio of Japan become higher than any other country in 2040 from the lowest country in 1940.
