▶ Your Answer :
The line graph illustrates the monthly
beverage sales in a restaurant from May to October 2015.
Overall, the coffee sales were more than
that of tea. During the month of May and September, the number of tea sold was
higher than that of coffee.
In May, the tea sold at about 6,200 cups
while the sales for coffee were close to 5,500 cups. In a month, the coffee
sales overtook the tea sales at close to 6,000 cups, whereas tea recorded at
below 4,000 cups. After that, the trend for both beverage experienced same
patterns until late July. Both beverages had a semi-weekly fluctuation where
mid-June had incremental sales of around 7,800 coffee and 4,000 teas, and it
dropped by early July before it peaked up.
From late July, the sales patterns for
coffee and tea distinguished. While the coffee had a declining sale to reach at
its lowest sales figures at 4,000 cups by late August, teas showed a continuous
increasing trend to reach at its peak of over 6,000 cups by mid-September. This
sales figure had bounced back to the May’s sales figure before it experienced a
drastic plummet to end at close to 1,000 cups. Concurrently, there was 4,000
cups of coffee sold by Mid-September. |
