It is true that technology negatively affects in the modern world, particularly the environment. In this regard, some argue that scientists should stop their innovative activities and concentrate of the resolution of environmental problems. In my opinion, scientists should pay attention not only to the innovation and invention of technology but also to solving the problems in the environment.
To begin with, there are several reasons scientists should continue developing or inventing technology. People will not stop using technology, because the effective fulfillment of their tasks depends on it. For example, people take cars or public forms of transportation to go to school or work these days. clearly, people's lives have become convenient due to the development of transportation. Admittedly, the air has become polluted as a result of technology. If scientists do not continue inventing new technology and exploring ways to make it less harmful to the environment, then the current technology might just cause more harm in the future.
Nonetheless, scientists also need to concentrate on solving environmental problems. People have destroyed the environment and natural resources like land, air and water. If scientists do not try to solve those problems now, it will be possible for the environment to recover. Worse, it might be be able to support lives in the future. Therefore, scientists should pay attention to solving the environmental problems too.
In conclusion, scientists should balance their efforts between innovating and inventing technology and finding solutions to the environmental problems. Continuous technological development is necessary is necessary to sustain quality of life and is key to the prevention of environmental deterioration. This can be achieved by encouraging scientists to develop environment-friendly technology that will ensure a healthy and clean environment in the future. |
