People usually have divided views on
developments of infrastructure. Some people assert that it is clear that
governments should priority first on developing the railways in order to move
faster than a kind of car and carry heavy things, although it needs more money.
However, I disagree with this idea for two reasons.
Above all, developments of roads can impact
on more people’s convenience life than railways. It is apparent that two –
thirds of people use public transportation that moves on roads and private cars. Since they have to fit the time of a railway and use another transportation to
go to a station of a train when people get on trains, most people prefer to use
like cars despite slow velocity. Namely, for providing more people advantages,
governments should spend money on developments of roads.
Another significant reason is that
constructing railways need excessive money. Why does it need much money? Since
most countries have no abilities to install railways, they have to import a lot
of skills or service despite spending excessive money. From some countries
experience, they have been struggling with lack of a budget after adding the
railways. As a result, people would have to be imposed more tax in spite of not
using it. Since governments should consider how many people can benefit from the amount of money they will spend, it is not reasonable to propel it.
In conclusion, since spending money on
improvements to roads can provide more people an advantage and improve
railways are not worth to spend excessive money, I advocate that governments should spend money
on roads.
