By contrast, the percentage of money spent on food and drink in the UK are 6% higher than that in New Zealand. The figures for utility bills and Transport relatively remained steady.
In 2008, Expenditure of the UK on leisure (34%) was twice as much as that of Newland (17%).
New Zealand had higher household spending of food and drink and Utility bills compared to the UK, by 12% and 3% respectively.
