▶ Your Answer : Many people tend to judge easily someone who successfully performs in his field is genius. Moreover, they believe that prodigy for sport and music is not gained by efforts, but born naturally. However, I object to this general opinion and I will explain in this essay that talent could be trained by personal effort in sport and music.
First of all, what makes them special in their field is not just their prodigy, but their own effort. Whether how much he or she is genius, if they don’t have an enough effort to enhance their ability, they could lose their natural-born talent. All of them whom people say so-called talent people spend a lot of time on improving their skills. For instance, a famous figure skater Kim Yuna spend her most of the childhood on training her skater skills. Whether we don’t know Kim is really genius or not, it is true that she made a hard effort to train herself, and so succeeded in her career.
There are some proofs which support this opinion. According to Outlier, which is very well known as best-seller book, people who were called as genius invested in their time to achieve a goal about ten thousand times. That is called as the rule of ten thousand time, which means that anyone could success in their field if they spent then thousand time on effort. Further more, the old saying that genius never overcomes ones who make an effort stands by.
As these references are proved, prodigy could be trained by their effort. Nowadays a lot of successful people achieve their dream through expending much time to make an effort. Thus, what we need to success in sport and art field is not depending on natural-born talent, but our genuine effort.
