▶ Your Answer : The bar graph illustrates the proportion of university students who came abroad in eight distinct provinces of Canada in the year 2001 and 2006. At first glance, it is clear that the number of international graduates occupied much higher percentage throughout all provinces in 2006 than in 2001. In 2001, the proportions had a relatively narrow range from about 3% in Ontario to about 7% in New Brunswick. However, five years later, every parts of Canada experienced growth in the percentage of foreign students. There were still the largest portion of student studying abroad in New Brunswick with appropriately 12% in 2006, while Ontario had still the smallest proportion with just over 5% as well. However, the growth in this figure was especially strong in the case of British Columbia. There was just under 5% international students in 2001, but over the period of 5 years, the figure doubled and this province became the second popular province to foreign student at over 10%,
Overall, changes in the proportion of international graduates were very uneven across the provinces of Canada. However, New Brunswick remained the province with the highest percentage.
